Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Amadeus and Sabre GDS systems to issue, reissue, and manage flight tickets, ensuring all bookings are accurate and comply with airline policies.

  • Provide timely and effective solutions to any ticketing issues that arise, including cancellations, refunds, and itinerary changes, enhancing customer satisfaction.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest airline rules, fare structures, and booking conditions to offer informed assistance and advice to customers and team members.

  • Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve any pre-flight or post-booking inquiries, ensuring a smooth travel experience for our customers.

  • Maintain meticulous records of all transactions and interactions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company and industry regulations.

  • Assist in the training and development of new team members on the use of Amadeus and Sabre systems, sharing knowledge and best practices.

  • Monitor and report on ticketing operations performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Act as a liaison between customers and airlines, negotiating the best solutions for both parties in case of disruptions, special requests, or travel advisories.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrated experience as a Ticketing Agent or in a similar role within the travel industry, with a strong proficiency in Amadeus and Sabre GDS systems.

  • A thorough understanding of airline ticketing procedures, fare calculations, and the travel industry's regulatory environment.
