Accessibility Statement

Accessibility Statement

Farera is committed to making flight search and booking usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We want every traveller to be able to find, compare and book flights on Farera.com, and to manage a booking afterwards, regardless of ability. We are working to meet recognised international accessibility standards across our website and to keep improving over time.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA. This is the technical standard referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 and by the European Accessibility Act. We also track WCAG 2.2 as accessibility guidance continues to evolve.

Farera is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that most of the website meets the standard, and we have identified a limited number of areas that do not yet fully meet it. We are actively working to close these gaps.

Known limitations

We are aware of, and currently remediating, the following areas. If you rely on assistive technology, you may encounter difficulties here until this work is complete:

The flight search "From" and "To" fields are not yet fully labelled for screen readers and do not always show a clear keyboard focus outline. Work to correct this is in progress.

Some promotional images carry text placed over an underlying photo, where sufficient colour contrast has not yet been confirmed. We are reviewing and updating these.

The cookie consent dialog is being updated so that it declares itself correctly to assistive technology.

These items are being addressed as part of our ongoing accessibility work. If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us using the contact details below.

Feedback and contact

If you have trouble using any part of Farera.com, or you need information from our website in a different, accessible format, please contact us: [email protected]

We take this feedback seriously and aim to respond as quickly as we can. If you contact us about a problem that is stopping you from completing a booking, we will help you complete it directly.

Compatibility

Farera.com is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge) and with commonly used screen readers (including VoiceOver and NVDA). It is also intended to remain usable when text is enlarged or the page is zoomed.

How we assessed this

This statement is based on a self-evaluation of Farera.com carried out by Farera. Our assessment combines automated testing, manual keyboard-only testing, and colour-contrast analysis. We review this statement and re-test the website on a regular basis, and we update it as our accessibility work progresses.
