Most tickets purchased through Farera are non-refundable, as we focus on offering the lowest possible fares. These discounted tickets typically come with stricter airline conditions and limitations. Voluntary cancellations generally do not qualify for a refund unless your ticket was booked with a refundable fare or you added flexibility options, such as “Cancel for Any Reason,” at the time of booking.


If you would like to proceed with a cancellation, you can submit your request through MyArea by going to Extra Services. Please keep in mind that our service fee of $150 / €150 / £130 per request applies, unless you have purchased Premium Service.


Because Farera operates as an intermediary between you and the airline, we must first receive the refund from the airline before we can process it to you. This means refund timelines depend on the airline's own processing schedule, which can take several weeks. Once we receive the funds, we will promptly revert them to your original payment method.


If you need your refund processed more quickly, our Priority Cashback service may be available for your booking. This option allows us to process the payment to you directly without having to wait for the airline to send the funds back to us.


We also recommend checking whether you have travel insurance that covers cancellations, as this is often the most effective way to recover costs for non-refundable tickets.
