Because of how the booking chain works, refunds follow the same path as the original payment: the airline refunds Farera, and then we refund you. This means we need to wait for the airline to process the refund on their end before we can forward it to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue the refund before receiving the funds from the airline.


The timeline for this process depends on the airline's own refund schedule. While some airlines process refunds relatively quickly, others can take several weeks. The good news is that regulations in many regions require airlines to be reasonably prompt with refund processing, which helps ensure the process doesn't take longer than necessary.


Once we receive the refund from the airline, we will promptly return the money to the original payment method used during booking. You can check the status of your refund at any time by logging into MyArea using your order ID and email address.
