Traveling with infants and children

Children aged 2 and over need their own seat and are booked as children. Infants aged 0 to 2 travel without a seat.

We can't cover costs that arise from the wrong ticket type having been booked.

Adding an infant or children after booking isn't possible. Under our Terms and Conditions, no passenger can be added to a confirmed reservation, infants included. If you need to add one, contact the airline directly, keeping in mind that they may not permit it either.

We don't arrange unaccompanied minors. Every child on a Farera booking travels with an adult aged 18 or over. Airlines that offer an unaccompanied minor service arrange it directly, with their own fees, age limits and route restrictions.

Children and infants need their own travel documents, and some countries ask for proof of age or parental consent, so we recommend checking with the relevant embassy or consulate well ahead of travel.

Bassinets, infant baggage and child meals are arranged with the airline, under manage booking or at check-in.
