What is the service fee on my booking?
The service fee is what Farera charges for arranging your booking with the airline. It is our fee, not the airline's, and it appears as its own line in the cost breakdown at checkout, before you pay. The same line appears on your invoice.
The fee is non-refundable. It pays for work that is complete the moment your booking is confirmed, so it remains charged even when the fare is refunded, and even when the airline cancels the flight. This is set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Requests after booking carry their own fees. Cancelling a booking, a no-show, and changing an existing ticket before departure are each charged at the same rate, per request. Other requests, such as name corrections, baggage, seating, or assistance with an airline-initiated change, are charged per passenger per leg. The current amounts are set out in our Terms and Conditions, and the fee for your request is shown before you confirm it.
Airline penalties and fare differences are separate. The airline sets them, and we pass them on at cost.
Premium Service waives all the Farera fees above. Airline fees still apply.
