We recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 to 3 hours before a domestic flight and 3 to 4 hours before an international flight. This gives you enough time to check in, drop off your luggage, go through security, and reach your gate without feeling rushed.
Once you're at the airport, head straight to the airline's counter to drop off your checked luggage (if you have any) and collect your boarding pass if you haven't already completed online check-in. If you've already checked in online and have your boarding pass on your phone or printed, and you only have carry-on baggage, you can skip the counter and go directly to security.
After that, it's on to security screening. Make sure to have your identification (passport or ID) and boarding pass ready. Remember to follow the liquid restrictions for carry-on baggage and remove any items from your bag that security may require, such as laptops or large electronics.
Once you've passed through security, you can proceed to your boarding gate. Along the way, you may find shops, restaurants, and lounges where you can grab a bite or pick up any last-minute essentials. Make sure to check the departure screens at the airport for any updates on your flight, including the gate number and any potential delays.
We recommend being at your boarding gate at least 30 to 45 minutes before departure, as boarding typically begins well before the scheduled takeoff time. If you arrive late to the gate, you risk being denied boarding.
You can also check your MyArea account for any flight updates using your order ID and email. Please note that all flight times shown in MyArea are in local time for each airport.
