What is the difference between Flexible Ticket and Cancel for Any Reason?
Both are optional add-ons you can buy at checkout. Flexible Ticket is for changing when you fly. Cancel for Any Reason is for not flying at all.
Flexible Ticket waives the penalty the airline charges for moving your dates or times. You keep the same airline and route, and pay only the fare difference if the new flight costs more. Submit the request in MyArea at least 72 hours before your original departure. It can be used once.
Cancel for Any Reason lets you cancel the whole booking without giving a reason, in exchange for a voucher worth 90% of the air ticket, redeemable on farera.com. It is not a cash refund. The request must reach us at least 72 hours before departure, and no passenger may have checked in.
If your dates might move, choose Flexible Ticket. If the trip itself might not happen, choose Cancel for Any Reason.
Neither can be added after checkout, and neither is an insurance product. For medical cover, baggage or trip interruption, a separate travel insurance policy is the right tool.
