What are the benefits of Cancel for Any Reason?

"Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) lets you cancel your booking without giving a reason and receive a voucher worth 90% of your air ticket, valid for future bookings on farera.com. You can add it only at checkout, together with your ticket.

The voucher covers 90% of the ticket price, including taxes and carrier-imposed fees. It excludes the price of CFAR itself, our service fees, and any extras such as baggage, seats, Flexible Ticket or Premium Service. The maximum value is $5,000 per booking, and the voucher cannot be converted into cash.

Two conditions decide whether you can use it. Your cancellation request must reach us at least 72 hours before the first flight departs, and no passenger on the booking may have checked in, online or at the airport.

To cancel, log in to MyArea, open Extra Services and select Cancel Reservation. We will confirm the options with you and ask you to confirm the cancellation. The voucher then appears in MyArea within 72 hours.

The cancellation covers the whole booking, not individual legs; the voucher is adjusted accordingly. The voucher is valid for 12 months, can be used until its value is spent, works only with the email address from the original booking, and cannot be combined with other vouchers or promotions.

CFAR cannot be used if the airline cancels a flight on your booking, if an airline involved stops operating or becomes insolvent, or in force majeure events. CFAR itself is non-refundable, and it is a Farera service, not an insurance product."
